2. Information I collect

The enquiry form collects your name, phone number, email address, optional postcode, message and consent to use those details to respond. If a job proceeds, I may also collect the site address, quote, invoice, certification and correspondence needed to provide the electrical service and meet legal obligations.

3. How I use it

• Respond to enquiries and prepare requested quotes
• Arrange and provide electrical services
• Keep appropriate job, payment and certification records
• Protect the website from spam and misuse
• Meet tax, safety and other legal requirements

I rely on the steps you request before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests and legal obligations as appropriate. I do not sell personal information.

4. Services that process information

Vercel hosts this website and may process technical request logs. Formspark delivers website enquiries. Resend may be used only as a fallback email delivery service if Formspark is unavailable. Vercel Analytics provides aggregate site measurement. Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics loads only after optional analytics consent. The external live-review provider connects only after you choose “Show live reviews”.

5. Retention and security

I keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry, job, guarantee, certification, accounting or legal requirement that applies. I use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, although no internet service can promise absolute security.

6. Cookie choices

The site stores your cookie choice locally in your browser. Google analytics tools remain disabled unless you choose “Accept analytics”. Choosing “Essential only” keeps them disabled. You can clear the saved choice through your browser storage settings and make a new selection on a later visit.

7. Your rights

UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to use of your information. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. I will respond to a valid request within the applicable legal timeframe.
